There’s not much to appreciate in British cuisine, that is, except for SHEPHERD’S PIE!! For the specials menu this week, Chef Matt, takes his turn at the British staple. Rather than starting with the more commonly used ground beef (boring!) Chef Matt begins his dish with a hearty layer of sauteed hanger steak with cippolini onions. He then tops it off with a layer of creamy mashed potatoes. You can’t get more meat and potatoes than this dish. Simple and totally delicious!
