At Pier 23 Cafe, we really do love our customers. One of our loyal patrons, Al, is the kind of guy that when he walks through the door our bartenders ring the bell to announce his arrival. For the past 2 years, he’s asked Chef Seamus to put fried chicken on the menu. So to honor Al’s loyalty, diligence (and patience!) , Chef has created “AL’S FRIED CHICKEN WEDNESDAYS”. Every Wednesday this October, we will be offering a special a la carte menu that includes 3 pieces (yes 3!) of succulent fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, collard greens with bacon hot pot, and to top it off a Nilla wafer banana cream pie. We’ve also concocted the “The Porch Cooler” cocktail, a perfectly refreshing sweet tea vodka lemonade to wash all that deliciousness down.
Now if that doesn’t sound like love just come down this Wednesday and taste the love for yourself. If you’re lucky, Al may be here regaling us with one of his fine stories in between bites of fried chicken.
